NBA Draft 2014

There was much excitement in regards to the NBA Draft.  College stars such as Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, Daunte Exum, and Joel Embid found new landing spots in the NBA.  Andrew Wiggins, the Canadian sensation made his way to the University of Kansas and now the Clevland Cavaliers. As for Duke Freshman Jabari Parker, he will try to revitalize the Milwaukee Bucks franchise. Then, there is Joel Embid , who was a teammate of Wiggins at Kansas and compared to NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon , has been drafted to the Sixers, who will join Michael Carter-Williams and Nerlins Noel. And Finally, there is Daunte Exum, the Australian who has flown under the radar and made his way to NBA draft scouts and has been selected by the Utah Jazz. Also, there were some great second round additions in the draft, such as Marcus Smart, who was drafted by the Boston Celtics, and Shabazz Napier, who was traded from Charlotte Hornets to the Miami Heat.  Even Miami free agent LeBron James was excited about the pick and potentially, this could serve as an incentive bring LeBron James back to Miami and win more championships with the Heat.  Overall, the draft was great and I look forward to watching these players transition in the NBA next season and NBA Summer league.
