It is predicted that Mayans , an ancient civilization located in Central America , thousands of years ago , predicted that on this day , December 21, 2012 , the world as we know it , would tragically come to an end . The world was to have been in this apoctolyptic state . in which the sky would fall, there would be a series of natural disasters, such as hurricanes, tsunamis , tornadoes and earthquakes that would transpire simotaneously all around the world. Now , my question is, why? Why would you believe this? Are you people really scared of what some Mayans predicted ? They probably came to the conclusion that the world would end in 2012, because they ran out of space to write on their stone tablets, alongside their polythestic gods that provided their reasons for existence. C'mon people, don't pay attention to everything that you hear. Well, newsflash, the world is not over, people are being born the minute, dying by the minute , and the rest of us are finding our "call

The holidays are just around the corner . What will you give your best friend , spouse , partner this holiday season . Will it be some expensive jewlery , clothes , or money. All of these questions are one that a person has to consider when buying a gift for the holidays. Or , will you even buy a gift this year , or just spend the holiday season enjoying the time with your family? My suggestion is that one should just go out , enjoy the nightlife of your town during the holiday season, get away if you can to an exotic paradise . Just do what makes you happy , plain and simple .  HAPPY HOLIDAYSSS!!!

Saturday Night Live returns with its Holiday Episode Special with guest-star Jamie Foxx. In years past, Saturday Night Live has executed with celebrity hosts on the holiday special. I'm looking foward to Foxx stealing the show this comedic genius personality and the creative, elegant writing of the show. Tune in tonight at 11:30pm et/ 8:30pm pt.

What do kids want to do with their futures? Will they be what their parents want them to be, such as doctors, lawyers, accountants , or real estate brokers? Will kids live the suburban, wealthy , or "underprivilged" class? Questions like these always ponder inside a child's mind. Personally, i feel that Im pressured to automatically have a career  once I graduate college. Let me just experience the fields of study that I desire, and if It isn't successful , I can always work at McDonalds right? Well, I wont work at McDonalds, but Ill be sure to continue to educate myself and go beyond a Bachellor's degree.  I really want to stress that to the kids who don't want to continue their education, and drop out of highschool , or college. I know that by that age , one is an adult and can make their own decisions . Most likely a kid without a secondary education will suffer economically and if they choose to have families. Saturday Night Live was great last night , filled with guest appearances by Daniel Crag, aka James Bond, and musical performance by rock band Muse. SNL did great parodies of this last weeks presidential debate between incumbent president Barack Obama and governor Mitt Romney. In addition , a comical appearance by Sesame Street's Big Bird, appeared to respond to Romney's comments on cutting PBS cidication on national television , including shows such as Sesame Street. Overall, last night was a great show and tune in next week @ 11:30pm Et.

It looks like the NBA season is almost under way . There's only about a month left until the season starts and major buzz is coming from defending champions , Miami Heat and their offseason acquisition of G Ray Allen . Also, the Los Angeles Lakers added superstars Steve Nash and big man Dwight Howard to boost tremendously their championship hopes. The season is only 26 days away from tip-off!!!! Be sure to watch for an exiting season

Week 2 of NFL Sunday has arrived . Teams such as the Redskins, Jets, Ravens, have made winning statements and proven they are contending forces in the league. Teams that have not impressed so far, such as the Titans, Browns, Cheifs, look for redemption this week against their opponents . Check out the games at 1, 4 on CBS/FOX and the prime time game of the week at 8 on NBC. Who will win , who will lose ?!

The new hit show , The Inbetweeners on MTV , perfectly captures the life of an American teenager. The show is filled with embarrsing momnets, raunchy humor , and witty dialogue. A show about four young boys struggling to fit in in highschool, seeking popularity is quite relateable to most teenagers. Every teenager wants to be popular and have all the attention by their peers at school. However, the boys on the show are Inbetweeners because they arent geeks and nerds , yet the arent popular at school. They want to be noticed somehow , and each episode on the show, displays their journey to popularity . Watch the show to find out if you're an Inbetweener. This past Friday, I went to Kings Dominion. Kings Dominon was pretty fun and I enjoyed the new rides they added to the park, such as the Intimidator. The Intimador is the tallest rollercoaster in the park, measuring to be 305ft and traveling at 94mph. Once i got off the Intimador i wqas dazed and confused on how a ride so high, can travel that fast in a matter of seconds. Kings Dominion certainly found a replacement for former high speed rollercaoster, the Dominator . The Dominator was created about 3 years ago. It measured 160ft at its apex, and traveling at 74mph. Besides the fast rollercaosrer, Ive noticed some fading ones as well, such as the Anaconda and The Rebel Yell. There are pracically no lines when waiting . The ride slow and the drops are very predicatable, I am not even schocked at the drops and loops. Even the rollercoaster operators look bored out of their minds. Overall, Kings Dominon still has great rides but needs to improve on their least amusing rides. I expect noth

Ever since Lebron James has eneterd the NBA in 2003, he has been compared to Michael Jordan. Lebron is a 6'8 , 250 pound freak of nature on the basketball court. Michael Jordan is considered the greatest basketball player to ever play the game. Lebron may steal the title of the greatest player in basketball if he continues his momentum of greatness. After, coming fromhis second Olympic Gold medal in 2012 London Olympics and winning his 1st NBA championship months earlier, Lebron looks to continue the title of the best player in the NBA. But, in order to catch up with Jordan, he must win 5 more championships and 2 more MVPs to be up for consideration. However, titles alone, Lebron must posses the grit and dominance Jordan possesed when he played. Michael Jordan led the the Bulls to 2 three-peats in championships. I just listened to a new track by a new favorite artist of mine, Miguel. Miguel has been rsing the pop charts with tracks such as "All i want is you feat. J-Cole" and "Girls like you" . He has a tender voice with hints of R/B soul and pop. Adorn is a recent track from him and seems to grow on me everytime I listen to it. Chad Johnson, former wide reciever of the Miami Dolphins was cut yesterday. Johnson was cut because of his dismal Week 1 preseason performance , not getting any catches throughout the entire game. Johnson also may have been cut due to his declining age as a wide out, 36 years old is an elder statesman for wide recievers in the National Football League. Although, this is not the first Johnson was cut from a NFL team, last year, Johnson was on the AFC Champion New England Patriots. Johnson was brought in from free agency with his first NFL team, the Cincinatti Bengals , the Patriots wanted to use his skills to contend for a superbowl ring. During the season, Johnson had limited production , even though the team made it to the title game against the New York Giants.However, the Patriots lost to the Giants , 21-17. Former Orlano Magic Power Forward, Dwight Howard was recently traded to the Los Angeles Lakers yesterday. Howard, who may be the most dominant big man in the NBA , was  a steal for the Lakers. This past year with the Magic, Howard was struggling to cooperate with the team and wanted to take his talents to a new place. Howard argued that the Magic didnt support his play with key players and disputes with former Magic coach, Stan Van Gundy. Howard had intially signed a 1-yr extesion with the Magic this past offseason, but they Magic didnt produce a championship season, and  being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs to the Indiana Pacers. Howard and his agent demanded a trade and the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers seemed to be title-contending teams for him. Finally, the Magic and Lakers agreed to trade Howard, with the invlolvement of other teams , such as the Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers. The Dark Knight Rises was a tremendous movie. The final movie in the tirology captivates audiences through the epic return of Batman in post-Joker Gotham City. A new villain arises in Bane, a powerful man with robotic ehancements. Bane, a former member of the League of Shadows under the training of Batman ( Brue Wayne)'s mentor Ras Al Goul. Bane travels to Gotham to destory Gotham City . However,its 8 years since Joker haunted Gotham and Batman saved Gotham. Due to personal conflicts, Wayne vowed not to become Batman anymore and protect the citizens of Gotham. Wayne is retired and resting on his fortune of Wayne Enterprises , but once Bane arrives, he crashes the stock market and wipes all stock in Wayne and Gotham City's wealth. He and his army torture Gotham, leaving only Batman to rise to the occasion. Batman seems up to the task , but his age has slowed his strength and determination. My favorite movie series is Star Wars. George Lucas perfectly combines the ideas of supernatural jedi's and space villains such as Darth Vader and his master, the Sith Lord. Yet , thought the whole series, Lucas describes the journey of Anakin Skywalker , and Obi Wan Kinobe . In addition, one cannot describe the emmese effect that Darth Vader has a villain. Then, which it turns out that its the protagonist , Luke Skywalker's father. Episode 3 , Revenge of the Sith, fully explains and elaborates the effect of darkness Emperor Palpitine , also known as the Sith Lord, convined Anakin Skywalker to join the darkside. This was due to the stuggles within the Jedi community, Obi Wan , Anakin's master wanted him to continue to lead the jedi force. Although, Anakin wanted complete power as a seperate Jedi Master, he felt that Obi Wan was "babying" him and did not let him take control on galatic missions and battles. Alright guys im back with a new perspective on the music industry. I want to focus on the rappers of 2012. So, here is my top 10 rappers of 2012: 1. Drake 2. Wale 3. Big Sean 4. J-Cole 5. Tyler the Creator 6. Mac Miller 7. Nicki Minaj ( shes pretty good fellas , fine too ;) ) 8. Meek Millz 9. Wiz Khalifa 10. Big K.R.I.T.                If you have any disputes, this my opinion and so far these are the new rappers that have impressed me over the new year.  This list is subject to change though and any artist can fall off or rise up on my list .

What is your favorite song? Who is your favorite artist of all time? All of these questions lead to music. Music assists people in times of tragedy or dispair. Music can generate happiness. Despite the emotions that are involved in music, I believe music does not promote peace among today's fan base in the United States and the entire world. Todays artists sing or rap about who much money they have or drugs, sex and violence. Music is a beautiful tool to persuade people do make something of themselves. However the current topics regarding music are influencing people to commit these horrific things. All I ask is that the true musicians and artists influence , motivate ,or inspire to be something greater than themselves and give back to their communities with their individual talents. Once music will be restored, everyone will find a peace like they never had before.

When reporters asked Lebron James about his feelings towards the Cavs, he didnt say that we will not reurn. After his televised free agent signing , The Decision, he seemed as if he was the villain in betraying his home of Ohio and fanbase in Clevland for seven years. Lebron dominated when arriving in Clevland and taking them to A finals apperance in 2007 and a perential playoff team. His fans has have had hostility towards him over the past year and I think he neeeds a break . He reached the finals last year and did not show any signs of lackluster play , so left LeBron win a couple rings with buds Wade and Bosh and come to Clevland as the hometown hero.

Jeremy Lin has captivated the NBA, with his outstanding guard play as a member of the Knicks. During Lin's seven starts as the guard, he has averaged 24 points per game and 9 assists per game. Lin has filled the leadership role to support the dismal play of leaders Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire. Lin has sparked the Knicks with a seven- game winning steak and a couple clutch games in Toronto and Minnesota . Although he has captivated fans with his amazing play and story as a homeless Harvard graduate, is he really the anointed superstar of the NBA?? Lin has yet to play the veterans of Tim Duncan and Tony Parker of San Antonio and the high-flying big three in LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. He has proven his place in the rough and tough city of New York , but how long will it last? Will he be the future of the NBA and will everyone be a LINNER? Only he dictates the success of his career and the popularity among his fans. So far Lin looks good as a player and
