NFL Week 2 Wrap Up

The 2nd week of the NFL is in the books. As for my team, the Washington Redskins , it was a bitter-sweet week. The Redskins smashed the Jacksonville Jaguars , 41-10 but lose QB Robert Griffin III due to a dislocated ankle that occurred in the 1st quarter. Griffin has had several injuries in his short NFL career with an ACL tear in 2012, minor injuries in 2013 and now a dislocated ankle, which SportsCenter reported that there is no fractures in the ankle and could potentially play later on in the season. As for backup QB Kirk Cousins, he had an amazing game, with a 109.9 QBR and completed about 70 percent of his passes and 3 touchdowns. Cousins has had experience winning games when Griffin has been hurt , and with his consistent play, he could potentially be a long-term starter for the Redskins . As for Griffin, another setback has been placed on him, but he is still young and I'm confident that we will rehabilitate and perform when he is ready.  The next opponent for the Redskins is the rival, Philadelphia Eagles.  We shall see how they perform next week. HTTR!!
