AFC/NFC Championship Showdowns

It is a great day for football my fans! We have the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game and The Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots for the AFC championship game. There are several storylines heading into these games, I would like to begin with the impressive Seattle Seahawks and their dominance at home with losing only 1 game in the past two years. Coupled with that, the best defense in the league, 4th all time statistically this season. Not to mention their running game under Marshawn "Beastmode" Lynch and the resourceful quaterback in Russell Wilson.  However, lets not count out the 49ers in this game. The 49ers have been road warriors in the playoffs by winning 3 straight playoff road games this season and look to get back into the Superbowl for a second consecutive year. Under coach Jim Harbaugh, the 49ers have been to 3 straight NFC championship games in his first three years. No coach has ever done that in NFL history. San Francisco has a dynamic hybrid offense with a running game under Frank Gore and quaterback Colin Kaepernick. These two teams seem to parallel each other quite nicely. In the regular season, both teams split wins with one another in the NFC West.  This game will surely not dissapoint!

Now, we move on to the Broncos and Patriots. Beginning with the Broncos, they have been exceptional and their offense under living legend quaterback Peyton Manning, with record-breaking seasons with most touchdowns in a season, (55), and the most passing yards in a season, (5,547). Not mention, he will probably add a 5 MVP award this season to his career. Peyton Manning and the Broncos look to make their 3rd Superbowl appearance and second superbowl win for Manning. The road to the Superbwl will not be that easy. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have been resilient all season and no one expected them to make it. They will make their 6th AFC Championship and potential 4th SB win.
