The Playoff Run Ends for DC

Well, this is bitter-sweet, but the Wizards have run out of magic in these playoffs. They lost to the Indiana Pacers, 93-80, and they will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat. This will be a rematch of last year's conference finals. However, as for the Wizards, the have nothing to be ashamed of. After only winning 29 games last season, and dramatically improving this season with 44 wins and 5th place in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards have excellent young talent with John Wall and Bradley Beal, which serve as their foundation , and with the great frontcourt play of Nene, Gortat and Ariza, they were a force to be reckoned with.  As a lifetime DC sports fan, i have seen so many horrible seasons in the nations' capital, but I can't wait for next season, with more draft picks , the progression of Otto Porter and hopefully resigning free agents Marcin Gortat and Trevor Ariza. Talent-wise , the Wizards are the 3rd best team in the east and with more experience under their belt, maybe a championship is in the near future, with the right supervision of GM Ernie Grunfeld and coach Randy Whitman.  So, hold your heads up high DC, we are rising up!!! DC RISING!! WIZARDS BASKETBALL!!!
