Donald Sterling Decision and NBA reaction

Commissioner Adam Silver of the NBA has banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life in the NBA. He has received a 2.5 million dollar fine and cannot participate and engage in any NBA-related activity,. This was all due to a recent recording of him spewing racist remarks against African-Americans, and any or minority fans attending his games. His girlfriend is also a minority and offended her and every person in America. There is no place for racism and any form of discrimination in the NBA and professional sports. As for now, Sterling is still the owner of the Clippers , but under the NBA constitution and by-laws , 3/4 of the NBA owners and front-office staff. Most likely, he will be voted out of ownership and forced to sell the team. However, in 1981, when Sterling bought the team for 12.5 million dollars, he will probably sell and 33 years later, the franchise is now worth an estimated 570 million dollars.  So, he will receive a 557.5 million dollar profit.  I hope this serves as a wake up call for professional sports leagues such as the NFL, MLB, NHL or any sports league to re investigate racial inequality or any one involved in any form of discrimination. I n the words of former NBA star Kevin Johnson and Sacramento, CA mayor said today " This transcends sports, but life."  The reaction from around the league is unanimous and in support  of the commissioner's decision. The Los Angeles Clippers team is now "very happy" , reported by ESPN NBA insider Chris Boussard. They can now focus on playing playoff basketball tonight against the Golden State Warriors in Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.  The stress and media turmoil they have faced , is now been relieved. I hope this situation serves as a message to all people in any form of power to respect and embrace each person in the United States and in the world and their social, ethnic, cultural differences.  Now, we the public must wait for Sterling to be released from ownership and if Sterling will protest and take action in court , refusing to surrender ownership.  Let's hope justice is fully served!
