2017 NBA Postseason Predictions


For all you NBA fans out there, it one crazy season. There have been numerous surprise teams like the Houston Rockets and my hometown Washington Wizards who have made dramatic leaps from last season and teams that have disappointed, such as the  Los Angeles Lakers and the Charlotte Hornets. With about 20 games left in the season, standings are crucial for the playoffs.  Here are my picks and Finals Prediction.

Eastern Conference
1. Cleveland Cavaliers,  55-27
2. Washington Wizards, 52-30
3. Boston Celtics. 50-32
4. Atlanta Hawks, 46-36
5. Toronto Raptors 44-38
6. Indiana Pacers  42-40
7. Detroit Pistons 41-41
8. Miami Heat 40-42


Western Conference

1. Golden State Warriors 63-19
2. San Antonio Spurs 62-20
3. Houston Rockets  56-26
4. Utah Jazz 52-30
5. Los Angeles Clippers 50-32
6. Oklahoma City Thunder 47-35
7. Memphis Grizzlies 44-38
8. Denver Nuggets 40-42

Eastern Conference

Cavaliers vs Heat , Cavs win series, 4-1 in 1st round

2. Wizards vs 7 . Pistons, Wizards win series , 4-2 in 1st round

3. Celtics vs.  6. Pacers, Celtics win series, 4-2

4. Hawks vs. Raptors, Raptors win series, 4-3

Western Conference Finals:  1. Warriors vs. 3. Rockets, Warriors win series, 4-2.

NBA Finals : It will mark the third year in a row the Warriors and Cavaliers make the finals and face off against each other. It will be a great duel between the two clubs. However, I have the Cavaliers hoisting the championship trophy and winning in the series, 4-3.

LeBron James will be Finals MVP.

What's up everyone, I know I've been on hiatus but I've been listening to some great music lately, and some from one of my favorite artists, Drake. Drake dropped two new singles a couple weeks ago, with God's Plan and Diplomatic Immunity. These are hits already and God's Plan has already gone platinum. Drake also shot the music video and released it last week . The video is set in downtown Miami, FL and Drake gives back to the community and gives money to those in need, cars, and other charitable organizations in the process. D.C. has made waves this past year with his hit song " Crew" and has put other jams such as "Meditation" and " Herside Story". Black Panther Review

The highly anticipated Marvel movie,  Black Panther has shattered and exceeded the box - office expectations. Deservedly so, the film has gained a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and critically acclaimed reviews across the United States and around the world. The film centers around star Chadwick Boseman, who plays T'Challa a prince of a hidden nation in Africa, Wakanda.
