Rapper J.Cole's new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive

Rapper J. Cole debuted his much anticipated album today and he did not disappoint. The album took a little over a year from his last one, Born Sinner ( Summer 2013), and there are numerous hits, such as Wet Dreamz, G.O.M.D. , Fire Squad and many more. I expect those songs to be in heavy rotation across radio stations nationwide. Cole used his time effectively and created an excellent follow up album. He has reasserted himself among his contemporaries, such as Drake, Childish Gambino,  Kendrick Lamar, Tyler The Creator, Wale,  Mac Miller , and Big Sean.  However, expect some new material from rappers such as Drake, who is working on a new album and is expected to be released in beginning of 2015.
    Not to mention, seasoned rap vets and stars such as Jay Z and Kanye West will make new songs in the near future. Yet, the spotlight for now is on Cole and he deserves it, job well done.  My rating for this album is a 9/10

Drizzy Drake's God's Plan

What's up everyone, I know I've been on hiatus but I've been listening to some great music lately, and some from one of my favorite artists, Drake. Drake dropped two new singles a couple weeks ago, with God's Plan and Diplomatic Immunity. These are hits already and God's Plan has already gone platinum. Drake also shot the music video and released it last week . The video is set in downtown Miami, FL and Drake gives back to the community and gives money to those in need, cars, and other charitable organizations in the process. Yo everybody I wanted to put you guys on to an an emerging recording artist, Goldlink. Goldlink from Washington. D.C. has made waves this past year with his hit song " Crew" and has put other jams such as "Meditation" and " Herside Story". Black Panther Review

The highly anticipated Marvel movie,  Black Panther has shattered and exceeded the box - office expectations. Deservedly so, the film has gained a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and critically acclaimed reviews across the United States and around the world. The film centers around star Chadwick Boseman, who plays T'Challa a prince of a hidden nation in Africa, Wakanda.
