NBA Season Preview 2017-2018

What's up everyone! I know it has been awhile since I have last posted but I want to share my thoughts on the upcoming NBA season. There was a lot of free agency and trade movement this past offseason, since the Golden State Warriors won the title under Kevin Durant. However, this caused some movements in the league, such as Kyrie Irving demanding a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers  and LeBron James, who went to the finals the past three years, facing Golden State. The trade was for the NBA's mighty little man, Isaiah Thomas of the Celtics , Jae Crowder and a draft pick.  In the western conference, Paul Geroge and Carmelo Anthony were traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder to join the reigning MVP Russell Westbrook. In addition, Chris Paul was traded to the Houston Rockets and joining James Harden.  Another surprise trade, was Jimmy Butler being traded on draft night from Chicago to the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he joins rising stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Minnesota looks to end their 13-year postseason drought this year.

Now, with all of that being said, here are my predictions for the season. To represent the Western Conference, Golden State will come out and dominate. However, the OKC Thunder will put up a fight and believe they have enough talent to compete against them in the Western Conference as the Potential 2 seed.  As for the Eastern Conference, I believe the Cleveland Cavaliers will repeat as the east champs, setting up a Golden State/Cleveland 4-peat finals rematch. As for possible contenders in the east for Cleveland, I see the Boston Celtics or Washington Wizards competing for that 2 spot and against the Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals.

What's up everyone, I know I've been on hiatus but I've been listening to some great music lately, and some from one of my favorite artists, Drake. Drake dropped two new singles a couple weeks ago, with God's Plan and Diplomatic Immunity. These are hits already and God's Plan has already gone platinum. Artist Spotlight: Goldlink

Yo everybody I wanted to put you guys on to an an emerging recording artist, Goldlink. Goldlink from Washington. D.C. has made waves this past year with his hit song " Crew" and has put other jams such as "Meditation" and " Herside Story". Black Panther Review

The highly anticipated Marvel movie,  Black Panther has shattered and exceeded the box - office expectations. Deservedly so, the film has gained a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and critically acclaimed reviews across the United States and around the world. The film centers around star Chadwick Boseman, who plays T'Challa a prince of a hidden nation in Africa, Wakanda. T'Challa is set in line to take the throne, however, due to the tragic death of his father, he must assume royal duties immediately and faces challengers to the throne.
