Atlanta on FX

Well folks, I'm back with a new post. Over the past two weeks, I have been watching the highly anticipated new show from Mr. Donald Glover aka rapper/singer Childish Gambino. The show centers around Earn, (Gambino), working at an airport, trying to make ends meet with his daughter and girlfriend. He seems out of luck and hopeless in in the colorful city of Atlanta, but finds hope, when he discovers his cousin, has gained popularity as a rapper. Earn decides to reach out to his cousin, known as Paperboy, to manage him and make money to support his family. Paperboy is reluctant about Earn's intentions, but trusts him because he's family. However, their road to success is not going to be easy, considering the music industry, new rappers, the dangerous city of Atlanta, and this being the first time Earn and Paperboy have ever done something of this magnitude. Every day is a blessing for them, and they must navigate their own road to success. We'll see how they pan out.

The show comes on Tuesdays at 10pm (et) on FX. I suggest you watch this show. it's funny, witty, dramatic and real. You won't be disappointed!! I'll leave you all with this trailer of the show!

What's up everyone, I know I've been on hiatus but I've been listening to some great music lately, and some from one of my favorite artists, Drake. Drake dropped two new singles a couple weeks ago, with God's Plan and Diplomatic Immunity. These are hits already and God's Plan has already gone platinum. Drake also shot the music video and released it last week . The video is set in downtown Miami, FL and Drake gives back to the community and gives money to those in need, cars, and other charitable organizations in the process. Artist Spotlight: Goldlink

Yo everybody I wanted to put you guys on to an an emerging recording artist, Goldlink. Goldlink from Washington. D.C. has made waves this past year with his hit song " Crew" and has put other jams such as "Meditation" and " Herside Story". Black Panther Review

The highly anticipated Marvel movie,  Black Panther has shattered and exceeded the box - office expectations. Deservedly so, the film has gained a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and critically acclaimed reviews across the United States and around the world. The film centers around star Chadwick Boseman, who plays T'Challa a prince of a hidden nation in Africa, Wakanda. T'Challa is set in line to take the throne, however, due to the tragic death of his father, he must assume royal duties immediately and faces challengers to the throne. In addition, the prosperous nation of Wakanda, known for its Vibranium energy source that fuels the land and provide endless potential for development and innovation.
