TV This Past Weekend 3/7-8/15

This past weekend , there was alot of great shows to watch, particularly on Sunday night on HBO and Showtime. On HBO, there is the popular original series, Girls, which is in it's fourth season and has elevated its' plot tremendously from last season. If you haven't watched the series yet, there is still time to catch up. Season 4 will end in about a couple of weeks. The show's creator and main character, Lena Dunham, (Hannah), is a struggling writer trying to make her way through New York and growing up as a young adult , alongside her 3 best friends and other characters along the way. In addition, a new original HBO series, Togetherness, had its' season finale last night and it was pretty well done. The show is about a late to middle aged Brett, a sound effects producer in suburban Southern California, with his wife Michelle, his best friend, and roommate, Alex, a struggling actor, with Michelle's sister, Tina and Brett and Michelle's kids all living together and finding some kind of spark in their lives . You can now watch the series now on HBO, On Demand or Hulu, etc.

As for Showtime, the 5th Season of Shameless is riveting , the Gallagher family always seem to find themselves in legal, emotional, psychological trouble. You never expect what will happen next. Catch the series on Sundays @ 9pm on Showtime. Like Girls, Shameless only has a couple more weeks left until the season finale. You want to get caught up before Season 6 next year!

What's up everyone, I know I've been on hiatus but I've been listening to some great music lately, and some from one of my favorite artists, Drake. Drake dropped two new singles a couple weeks ago, with God's Plan and Diplomatic Immunity. These are hits already and God's Plan has already gone platinum. Drake also shot the music video and released it last week . The video is set in downtown Miami, FL and Drake gives back to the community and gives money to those in need, cars, and other charitable organizations in the process. Yo everybody I wanted to put you guys on to an an emerging recording artist, Goldlink. Goldlink from Washington. D.C. has made waves this past year with his hit song " Crew" and has put other jams such as "Meditation" and " Herside Story". Black Panther Review

The highly anticipated Marvel movie,  Black Panther has shattered and exceeded the box - office expectations. Deservedly so, the film has gained a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and critically acclaimed reviews across the United States and around the world.
